Honoré D'O _ Opera Aperta
Opera Aperta is a living book a sharply defined reflection on the complete artistic journey of Honoré d'O. The scroll functions as a metaphor for an entire body of work.
Using digital techniques, Honoré d'O connects texts and images in a way that is more sculptural than graphic, allowing unexpected associations to arise in the mind of the viewer. The rolled columns on either side of the visible image act as guardians of that central moment, lending it a quiet magic through its relationship to all that remains just out of sight.
